What data do we collect?

We collect data from almost all management functions that require storage on our databases. Amelie collects data to be able to retrieve it at any time when set functions need to be retrieved.

We collect data from these functions: LYRA, BAN, CUSTOM COMMANDS, DISABLE / ENABLE, JOINROLES, LANGUAGE, LOGGING, PERMISSIONS, REACTION ROLES, WEBHOOK & WELCOME MESSAGE

We do not collect message content, so we do not know what you write or do on a server, the same with our commands, we do not store any entered commands and do not log them! Amelie does however store database and cache activity, if you save or remove something from our database this is stored with us, the same with the cache, if you save, remove or query data from the cache system this activity is stored with us. This is for security purposes to block overdimensonal large queries with the aim to bring Amelie performance to the limits.

How do we protect this data?

Our servers are equipped with security features that protect the data and Amelie itself.

  • We protect our servers with 2-factor authentication, this authentication code is transmitted only to trusted team members and also have limited access to the server and databases.
  • Our passwords for our servers are constantly changed and even if the password is accessed, the 2Auth code is required, which is only available through the Founder Team.
  • Members with access to the databases are not allowed to publish or save this data, we log every activity and can track every database change or save.

Are the data backed up?

Yes, we create a monthly backup of the entire server, once the month is over another backup is created and the old one is deleted. This is for security in the worst case if data is overwritten or deleted due to server errors or human error to be able to restore them.

No one has access to the backups, not even the Founder Team. If a backup is really needed, it is directly uploaded to the server and is directly protected by our security features.
